This is the official version of the license for the XMaps Library. These terms superceed any other circulating licenses. By downloading or using the XMaps Library, you agree to follow all of the terms of this license.

The XMaps Library is released without any warranty, whatsoever.

You are free to download, link to, and use the XMaps Library and its source code however you wish, except for the following:

• You may not sell the source code or portions or derivatives of it without my explicit permission. This includes, but is not limited to, tools and libraries to help aid others in the use of the Google Maps API.
• You may not misrepresent the creator of the library or its source code.
• You may not modify the library's source code for redistribution under the same name.
• You may not remove or alter the header at the top of the source code.
• You may not remove or alter any comments specifying where portions of the source code originated.

Except for the limitations listed above, you do have explicit permission to use this library as a part of a website that makes use of the Google Maps API, whether that site is commercial or not.

Portions of the XMaps Library source code are pulled from various sources. These portions are copyright their original creators and may not be subject to the terms of this license. Code that was not created by me (Chris Smoak) is noted as such in the source code.

I reserve the right to modify the terms of this license at any time without any notification. I don't, however, intend to.
